Inspiration I

We are always looking for inspiration by admiring other’s works. One such a place is Dribbble. It’s an amazing social site for designers with tons of pictures or art-work and designs.

Overview

Gifagram Lite and Gifagram PRO were release on 1st of November at Android Market. 12 days later we are happy on how things are progressing. We have release a major update which added some bug fixes and improved application responsiveness besides a new feature. The new camera capture functionality enables Gifagram users to capture individual images for your gifagram (you can still capture a movie and select frames from it).

We are currently working towards version 1.1.1 which will improve small problems found during these days. Release date to be announced.

Stay tunned, this is just the beginning!

Exploring the GIF format as an art

Jamie Beck has explored the use of GIF format as a new channel to communicate ideas through a serie of animated photographs.

“There’s something magical about a still photograph - a captured moment in time - that can simultaneously exist outside the fraction of a second the shutter captures.”
Jamie Beck

He used this technique during the fashion week in Milan with great success and has illustrated how any format, even digital, can be used to make art. If you like the gifagram here be sure to check Jamie Beck blog at http://fromme-toyou.tumblr.com/
